PAUL Carden branded some of his Warrington Town side’s decision-making as “shocking” during their draw with Radcliffe this afternoon.

Yellows had to come from behind to keep their unbeaten away record intact, with Tony Gray cancelling out Tyrese Sinclair’s opener.

Carden admitted his side did not do enough to win the game but rued a sub-par attacking display from his side – far removed from their dispatching of City of Liverpool in the FA Cup on Tuesday.

“The result can happen, but it was the performance that frustrated me because it was so far away from where we were on Tuesday with the same eleven,” he said.

“If I knew why, we’d have won but it was a case of us not playing well.

“On reflection, I’d probably say a draw was a fair result. They could have scored at 1-1 and so could we.

“Our decision-making was shocking. Our attacking players didn’t attack with any conviction.

“We were disjointed and out of shape, which leads to giving free kicks away and misplacing passes.

“That builds frustration in the team and that spills over into the performance.

“Places like this are tough ones to go to. They won promotion last season and are having a go.

“What I do demand for us to be up there is a better performance that what we showed today.”
