MARTIN Murray recorded his third straight win as a super-middleweight after a dominant stoppage victory over Jose Miguel Torres.

The Fingerpost fighter, who is eyeing a world title fight with WBO champion Arthur Abraham, floored the Colombian seven times on the way to victory in the fifth round at the First Direct Arena in Leeds.

Murray had his South American opponent down in the first and twice more on the canvas in the second round.

Torres was floored twice more during the fourth round and referee Howard Foster stopped the fight in the fifth after the Colombian went down a seventh time.

"I was hoping I would get him out of there sooner," Murray told Sky Sports. "It was quite hard to pin him down, but I knew if I stuck to the game plan I would get him out of there."
