HAYDOCK have reached the prestigious BARLA National Cup Final for the first time in the club's history after an emphatic 41-14 triumph over Thatto Heath A.
The Yickers took control in the first half, rattling up a 29-4 lead at the break.
Although Heath rallied with two second half tries Haydock pulled away again to comfortably book their place in the final.
Jordan Gibson was the man of the match, with Connor Smith, Dany Gee and Gary Anderton also having fine games.
Haydock will now play West Hull in the final which will be held at Featherstone's Post Office Road ground on May 6.
