SAINTS will know exactly how many points they need to defeat Castleford Tigers by in order to secure home advantage against Warrington Wolves in the play-offs.
Final games of the season for Warrington and Saints were both scheduled for Friday, September 3, but the Knowsley Road game versus Cas has been put back to Saturday, September 4, for Sky television purposes.
Both teams are currently level on 38 points, but Saints hold an advantage of 6 in terms of 'points difference'.
If Wolves win at Harlequins on the Friday, Saints will know the following day the size of their task to avoid finishing third.
The team finishing second will host the team finishing third in the play-offs a week later.
