SAINTS' injury woes continue with the club confirming that wing Owen Dagnall has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury and will need surgery.
The speedy outside back sustained the injury in the second half of the Saints' Betfred Super League Round 18 match against Toulouse Olympique on Sunday.
Following scans, it has been confirmed that Dagnall has suffered an ACL rupture injury, which will end the 20-year-old's 2026 season.
Dagnall said: "I'm absolutely gutted about the news, but I'm going to do everything I can to get back as soon as possible.
"I want to just say a quick thank you to the fans who have sent me get well messages, I really appreciate it."

Dagnall has played 29 times for Saints, 17 of which have come this season as he stepped up to try to make the wing spot his own.
The next steps for Dagnall will be surgery, which the Club will look to arrange as soon as possible so that he can begin his rehabilitation.
It adds further woe to a Saints side with an incredibly long casualty list missing 15 players last week.
