- Saints have lost 20-18 at Salford.
- They were second best for large parts of the game despite taking an early lead through a James Bell try.
- Two Deon Cross tries put Salford ahead at the break, but Saints got back into the game with try from Curtis Sironen. That was soon cancelled out by one from Kallum Watkins.
- It did look like Saints had stolen the game when Mark Percival powered over but crucially missed his easiest kick of the day having kicked all of the tough ones.
- That allowed Salford the opportunity to pick Saints' pockets with Chris Hankinson finishing off a long range move. Marc Sneyd made no mistake to win the match 20-18.
