PAUL Wellens has named Saints 21-man squad for Sunday’s game against London Broncos at Twickenham Stoop Stadium, 3pm.

The Round 14 Betfred Super League clash marks the halfway point in the 2024 season.

More than 1,000 Saints supporters are making the trip down to London - and a ground that holds some special memories.

Coach Paul Wellens said: "I just want us to really attack the game the way that I’ve been doing in recent weeks.

"And I feel our playing group at this moment time is in a good frame of mind even with our injury worries and key players sat on the sidelines.

"There’s an energy about the team at the moment and the smiles on their faces every day when they come to work.

"Now I want that to reflect in our performance. We have got to play the game, and stay true to our identity and part of that is respecting the opposition."

Wellens has made one change to the 21 for the Round 13 victory over Catalans Dragons with young forward Leon Cowen replaced by Saints Academy player Harry Robertson.

Robertson has been with Saints since he was 14 after joining the Scholarship programme from prolific community club Halton Farnworth Hornets.

He was part of the 2023 Academy Championship-winning side, also earning selection to represent both Lancashire and England.

It caps a good week for the young halfback who scored seven tries against Huddersfield Giants last week, and on Wednesday was selected in the England Academy squad to take on France at the start of July.

Robertson has been issued the First Team squad number 33 for 2024 following his inclusion in the 21-man squad.
