ANOTHER great weekend for St Helens Swimming Club, as they travelled to The Trafford Metro Meet at Sale on Sunday.

Alicia Ashton led the way with gold in the 50m Backstroke and 50m Freestyle and silver in both the 50m Breaststroke and 50m Butterfly.

Sister, Freya Ashton, also picked up two golds as well as a silver.

Ruby Pullen was impressive, ending the day with a gold and two silvers, whilst Rose Terry, in her first gala, took gold in the 50m Freestyle.

In the Backstroke, Olver Crosby took silver in both the 50m and 100m events. Amelia Mather picked up silver in the 100m Backstroke and bronze in the 100m Freestyle.

Ella Whittle, Miles Hughes & Edith Keely-Goose were rewarded for their hard work with silver medals and there were bronze medals for Jaxon Pullen and Ava Whittle.

There were also a number of Personal Bests from Riley Underhill, Steph Bradshaw, Harry Glover, Imogen Jones and Sofia Bagdonavicius.

Rounding off a good day Oliver Crosby, Charlie Cookson Cliffe, Jaxon Pullen and Sam Haraben finished third in the 200m Medley Relay.
