THE behind-the-scenes film that charts Saints’ World Club Challenge win in Australia will be broadcast on Sky this week to coincide with the Wigan v Penrith game.

After being shown for more than a month on the on-demand video channel Saints TV, Saints Down Under: History Makers will now be shown by Betfred Super League’s main broadcast partner Sky Sports.

The film will be shown this week following Sky Sports programming of Hull KR v Leeds Rhinos on Thursday evening (22 February) and Warrington Wolves v Hull FC on Friday night (23 February), and it will also be available on-demand through Sky too.

Previously it has been viewed only by Saints TV subscribers but now it will reach a wider audience.

Viewers will get the chance to watch the documentary which follows Saints’ 2023 trip to Australia.

It will take the viewer on the whole journey - from the 5am coach pick-up at the Totally Wicked Stadium through to James Roby leading the team song in the changing rooms at the BlueBet Stadium in Penrith.

It goes inside the team camp – including teamtalks and training sessions – with the story told directly by the team themselves.

This documentary showcases the desire and preparation by all involved at the Club to achieve what just might be the biggest win in the Saints’ gloriously storied 150-year history.
