IT was a tough day at Close Street where a healthy crowd saw Thatto Heath knocked out of the Challenge Cup by Featherstone Rovers.
Last year's Championship table Toppers, featuring several with Super League experience, triumphed 72-0 to progress into Round 4.
There was no shortage of effort from Heath, but Rovers were just too big strong and quick for the hosts and led 42-0 at half time.
The packed touchlines and full clubhouse will have hopefully brought some consolation for a Thatto club that has worked tirelessly since the Challenge Cup draw was made.
Thatto's focus will now switch to a visit to Lock Lane Castleford on March 2 in round one of the NCL.
