The coaches on either side of the picture are Bob Dagnall and Jeff Heaton - and they were responsible for nurturing some future first team players.
In this team are pack men Paul Round and Paul Forber, as well as centre Shaun Allen.
Many members of this team went on to win honours with the Saints A team.
