SAINTS will kick off their 2024 Super League campaign with a home game against newly-promoted London Broncos.

Paul Wellens’ men face the Broncos on Friday, 16 February in Round 1 of the fixtures revealed tonight.

That will be followed by a trip to Huddersfield Giants the following weekend on the Saturday (5.30pm).

The full Super League fixture list will be published tomorrow at 8.30am and will be available on the Star's website immediately.

The season starts with the crash, bang, wallop of a blood and thunder Hull-Hull KR derby on Thursday, 15 February - a game in front of a big gate that will sound a strong note.

In contrast Saints’ game against the surprise newcomers will be altogether more low-key which sees Wellens’ outfit on something of a hiding to nothing.

Saints will be expected to win, and do so comfortably, but this will be one game that the Broncos will want to give their best shot.

And they will be looking to show the inventive and dogged brand of rugby that saw them defy the odds against big-spending Featherstone and Toulouse to earn their spot in the top-flight.
