SAINTS have successfully challenged the Grade B high tackle charge handed out to prop Alex Walmsley by the Match Review Panel following the Magic weekend game against Huddersfield.
It appeared to be, on the face of it, a clash of heads between Walmsley and Giants' former Saints packman Joe Greenwood.
The latter left the field with a cut head and requiring a HIA - but no penalty was given against Saints at the time.
Although a £250 fine rather than a ban was issued by the MRP on Monday, Saints successfully appealed a Grade B high tackle charge, with the Operational Rules Tribunal accepting his plea of not guilty.
