MICHAEL Smith got a rousing cheer when he brought the World Darts Championship trophy to Saints last Friday night.
Bully Boy won the trophy at Ally Pally in January - and although he had his picture taken at the stadium the day after that success, this is the first time he has shown it off in front of the fans.
And of course, he received a rousing reception at half time.
It will be slightly different tonight (Thursday) when he goes to Newcastle to take on Chris Dobey in his own Newcastle backyard when the Cazoo Premier League Night Eight goes to the Utilita Arena on Tyneside.
Dobey ran out a 6-4 winner against Smith last Thursday in the Night 7 clash at Nottingham
