LAURA Wright has been one of the Rainford RAMS' leading runners since the club's inception 12 months ago and enjoyed a rewarding day out last week at the Chester Half Marathon.
In hot conditions she took on the hilly course and finished in 1:33:59.
The following weekend saw two club members take on their spring target races.
Gez Roberts has completed multiple Ironman races on home soil but on this occasion he stepped up to the tough Lanzarote course and finished in 12 hours 42 minutes, before Robert Chesters rounded off a fruitful fortnight for the club by mounting a late comeback on the 5k run to win the 35-39 age group at the Nantwich Triathlon, posting a time of 1:06:03.
