SAINTS on-loan hooker Aaron Smith scored a 24th minute for Leigh in their 52-0 win at Batley.
But he copped a facial wound in the process and had to spend a spell off with a blood injury.
He did return later in the game as the Centurions piled on the points.
Smith is on a season-long loan with the promotion seeking Championship side.
