RIVALS Warrington Wolves are likely to be without star signing Billy Magoulias when they face Saints in Round Five of Super League in early March.
The former Cronulla Sharks packman will be out for four to five rounds of the season after requiring surgery on an ankle injury.
The Greek international joined Wolves in October from Cronulla Sharks and sustained the injury in pre-season training.
Saints play Warrington at home on 11 March.
Warrington Wolves Head Coach Daryl Powell said: “Billy unfortunately picked up a training ground injury which required an operation. This has now been completed successfully and he is working through his rehab.
“We expect him to miss the first four to five rounds of the season. Billy has fitted in really well and we look forward to getting him back on the field as soon as possible.”
