ST HELENS darts ace Michael Smith defeated champion Gerwyn Price in a thrilling clash to reach the World Darts Championship semi final.
Smith produced another stunning performance to win the pulsating tie 5-4.
With an average of 102, including 16 180s, Smith earned the right to go through.
He will now face James Wade in tomorrow's semi final at Alexandra Palace.
Smith said: "It is up there with one of the best nights of my career.
"I have overcome a 10 loss streak against Gezz (Price) - he started off the first set playing really well and then it felt like I was in control.
"The 180s and 140s were flying in and I knew going into that last set that if I could produce it then I would be OK.
"I am just happy. I am in the semi and one more step away from living out my dream.
"All I am thinking about now is that this is my chance. I have to take it a game at a time but it is at the back of my mind and you can't black it out."
