ST HELENS darter Dave Chisnall has tested positive for Covid-19 and has been forced to withdraw from the William Hill World Darts Championship.
He was due to play Luke Humphries later today - but will now join former champion Michael van Gerwen in being ruled out with Covid.
Humphries will now receive a bye into the last 16 of the tournament at Alexandra Palace.
It means that Michael Smith is the town's only representative left in the world's biggest darts tournament.
