DESPITE a narrow Cup defeat at Aldwinians last weekend, there was to be a just reward for the home team in this week's fixture for a fine display of adventurous rugby

Park opened the scoring within minutes of the start as centre Ainsworth sliced through the defense to make space for winger Johnson to score a fine try wide out.

Front row forward Williams was next to score charging down a clearance to re-gather and score a try which Littler converted .

The visitors opened their account with possession from a maul close to the line, the try however was unable to be converted

A line bust from Fa'asavalu saw the ball re-cycled through several pairs of hands to eventually find prop Kimberley on hand to score a nice try, duly converted by Littler, who later added a successful penalty conversion bringing the half time score to 22 pts to 5 pts

Park were forced through injury to introduce several replacements during the game, which in the second half proved somewhat disruptive to the flow, the visitors taking full advantage with another close range score which went unconverted.

The home side stretched their lead once again as man of the match Webster provided a telling pass to winger Littler, who evaded the defense and score a try in the corner, which he then expertly converted from the touchline.

As full time approached an excellent cross field move by the visitors provided them with a good try which was converted to bring the game to an end

West Park have no game now until a visit to Wigan on 11 December.
