LIVERPOOL St Helens continue their stop/start season this weekend with a trip to Aldwinians. (2.15). Burnley withdrawing from the Division and a postponement of the home game against Wigan leave the revamped fixture list looking like this:
23 Oct v Aldwinians away; 30 Oct v Hoylake away (cup); 6 Nov No game; 13 Nov v Wigan home ; 20 Nov v Eccles home.
Meanwhile the Club continues to develop on all fronts with the newly formed Women’s Team playing their first competitive match against Sedgley Park Ladies under the lights during the recent Beer Festival.
In other news the U15 Girls recorded a 50-0 victory over Chester in their recent encounter and the Senior Colts sit joint top of their League together with Wirral Senior Colts after 5 matches.
Chairman Tom Jackson referred to the recent developments at LSH saying, “ We’ve now got a club that all our tremendous volunteers can be proud of and continue their work with all teams, Seniors, Colts, Juniors, Minis, Women’s and Girls.”
