LACHLAN Coote has posted a heartfelt farewell to his Saints team-mates and supporters after his time at the club came to an end.
The 31-year-old full back is leaving Saints after being part of a golden era in the club's history, which culminated in a third Grand Final triumph in a row last weekend.
The victory also completed a league and cup double for Saints.
Coote, who will join Hull KR, has spoken previously of how Saints saved his career following his move from Australia.
In a post on Instagram, he wrote: "This truly has been the best three years of my career, not only because of the success we’ve had but the journey we’ve been on together.
"I'll always be grateful to have met you all; because you all have contributed to creating a culture that I have been able to perform consistently at my very best."
The former Penrith and North Queensland Cowboys player, who represents Scotland, heaped praise on all those connected with the club for helping his young family settle in St Helens.
He added: "I can’t thank, office staff, fans, medical staff, coaching staff and most of all my team mates enough for the support they have given myself and my family to make it all work out on the other side of the world."
Coote, who became a huge fans favourite, signed off by writing: "I’m honestly going to miss you all.
"I love you @saints1890 ♥️
"Signing off, Cooooooooote!!"
