DEPARTING Saints scrum half Theo Fages has thanked the fans in his leaving message.
The popular Frenchman, who has enjoyed six years at Saints since joining from Salford, has joined Huddersfield on a three-year deal.
Fages missed the last few months of his final season after breaking his shoulder at Wembley, where he scored his last try for the club.
In a message posted on his own social media today, Fages wrote: “The last six years of my life were special. Not many words can describe it.
“I really want to thank St Helens RFC, coaches, all the staff involved and my teammates/friends for giving me the opportunity to wear the red V and make all the memories I have made over the years I have been at this special club.
Thank you @G18EME too, the journey started a long time ago and continue 🙏🏼 pic.twitter.com/5OWWZ1SmSG

“Thank you to all the fans that supported us and backed me, you are amazing and as a young lad joining the club you gave me the confidence I needed.
“Never underestimate your power.”
