SAINTS players have been partying after a glorious weekend of sport for the town that saw both the men's and women's teams crowned Grand Final winners.

The men's team triumphed on Saturday night at Old Trafford with an enthralling 12-10 victory over Catalans to win three titles in a row for the first time in the club's history.

And the women's team ran out 28-0 winners over Leeds to be crowned Betfred Women's Super League Champions for the first time after a 28-0 win over Leeds Rhinos at Headingley.

It completes a historic treble for Derek Hardman's team, adding to the Challenge Cup and League Leaders Shield.

Saints' success at Old Trafford sparked wild scenes of celebrations among fans as the jubilant players danced around on the pitch in front of them.

And the party continued on the coaches home and at pubs in town, where supporters belted out songs such as We are the Champions, James' Sit Down, Sweet Caroline and Oh When the Saints.

The players joined in the party too – and after returning to the TW stadium on Saturday night they headed into town to celebrate.

Imperial Bar showed members of the team merrily singing 'Here We Go...Saints have one three in a row' to the tune of Status Quo's Rockin' All Over the World.

The theme continued on Sunday, with departing full back Lachlan Coote sharing a video on social media of the players dancing and singing along to the anthem as the party got into full swing.

Meanwhile, the Gerard pub in Dentons Green welcomed the Saints women as the players celebrated their famous triumph.
