SAINTS loose forward Morgan Knowles will play in the Grand Final despite picking up a Grade A charge for a late hit in the semi final.

Knowles was given a yellow card for the 66th offence and a 0 match penalty notice.

The match review panel minutes note: "Dangerous Contact - A defending player makes contact with an opponent after the ball has been released by an opponent in a vulnerable position which causes excessive flexion to the head, neck or spinal column on an attacking player, which poses an unacceptable risk of injury to that player.

"Grade A."

There is no further action against Sione Mata'utia who was also handed a yellow card for a high tackle.

The panel on this stated: "Player is in a set tackle position. Opponent slips immediately before the player. Player does not swing his arm into contact and opponent drops into his arm."

Catalans pair Sam Kasiano and James Maloney are both clear to play.

On Kasiono's 39th minute high tackle the panel explain: "Player is making a tackle. Initial contact with the chest as the opponent is dropping having taken a kick."

Maloney is handed a caution for intentionally standing on an opponent in the 17th minute of their game with Hull KR.
