SAINTS coach Kristian Woolf has given injury updates on the two players who left the field during the win over Leeds.

Sione Mata’utia was helped off after picking up a 46th minute ankle injury and Mark Percival took a head knock in the final quarter.

Woolf said: “Sione has obviously got a bit of an issue there – I don’t think it is a terrible one that will keep him out of finals footy.

“He’s not going to be available to play next week at this stage.

“He has just got to look after that and I am very confident we will have him for the semi final in a couple of weeks’ time.

“He is playing terrifically as well – and I have been really happy with him in the last few weeks.

“He is an important player for us and we need to look after him.

“I am confident he’ll be right for the semi-finals.”

Percival suffered a head injury and was led off, but Woolf said he will be free to play next week at Salford.

“Mark copped a head knock off a bit of a high tackle. He is fine, it is more the way he fell that made the docs on the sideline feel that he needed to be looked at.

“He has recovered really well and is fine and available next week,” Woolf said.
