THE smiles on the faces say it all for the young footballers of FC St Helens Under 9s in action against Earlestown FC.
The weekend's game finished 3-1 in favour of FC St Helens - pictured here playing in red and white stripes.
The player of the match was Luke Griffin, who sealed the accolade with a spectacular goal from inside his own half.
And Luke can be seen in the pictures celebrating that long-range effort with his delighted dad on the touchline.
