FORMER Saints skipper James Graham has not forgetten his roots.
Highly decorated in both rugby league hemispheres, Jammer started off his playing career at St Helens Crusaders before joining Blackbrook Royals.
From there he had a stellar career at Saints, Canterbury and St George-Illawarra.
Today he sent a message wishing junior grassroots players good luck as they return to training after the enforced lockdown.
Thatto Heath Crusaders Under 11s tweeted out the message the club had received.
He said: "It is ex-Crusader James Graham here.
"I just want to wish all the best to everyone returning to playing and training, boys and girls from under 6 to Open Age.
"it is gutting when our game is taken away from us, so I hope everyone treasures the training sessions and getting involved in the games again."
