FOLLOWING the government’s national lockdown announcement to counter the steep rise in Covid-19 infections, the RFU have declared that all community rugby activity in England is suspended until further notice.
Liverpool St Helens were among the clubs hoping to play some games at local level from 16 January, with their minis and juniors looking for a start on 10 January.
However that has now had to change due to Covid-19 and the efforts to tackle it.
Lancashire RFU (ADM Leagues) have revised the proposed start date from 16 January to 1 March - subject to the national situation.
