SAINTS' semi-final win was marked by another masterclass from Zeb Taia, who is showing his intention to sign out on a high note.

The veteran former NRL player, who turned 36 last month, continues to bring his A game with his penultimate game in the red vee typifying his consummate professionalism.

And for the cherry on top of the cake, Taia's sleight-of-hand to pop up the money ball for Lachlan Coote's was something befitting of the magician's circle.

Coach Kristian Woolf was swift in his praise for the former Parramatt, Newcastle Knights, Catans and Gold Coast Titans back row.

He said: "Zeb was outstanding tonight. He has not got long left at the club, the same as James Graham and James has rightfully had a lot of the attention – and deserves every accolade he gets.

"But Zeb Taia has been a big player for this club for a long time and he really showed his class there tonight and it would be great to send him off in a positive way."

The perfect ending for Taia, Graham and Dom Peyroux is being teed up at KCOM on Friday, where Wigan - sending off Sean O'Loughlin - will be keen to party poopers.
