IT is game day for the first time in the new decade as Saints mark 10 years for popular Londoner Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook with a Testimonial match at home to London Broncos.

The game kicks off at 2.30pm and adult tickets range from £11 in the West Stand to £13 in the South Stand, with reductions for concessions and juniors.

The game is Kristain Woolf's first in charge of the Saints and will be the only run-out before Super League starts on 31 January at home to Salford.

McCarthy-Scarsbrook said: “I thought playing London was only right with them being my first team and the club that got me into the game.

"It is an honour to play them and is a nice tip of the cap to them.

“Hughesy (chairman David Hughes) is still there and Danny Ward – one of my old teammates – is the head coach.

“It was easy to arrange it and nice that they agreed to come up as well.

“Woolfy said it's our only pre-season game so we have to get our match fitness before round one by playing the minutes in this one."

Matty Lees returns to action following his horrific perforated bowel injury last August, but as expected James Roby, Morgan Knowles and Tommy Makinson are still out after off-season surgery.

Kyle Amor is also ruled out with a shoulder injury.

Saints: Coote, Naiqama, Percival, Grace, Lomax, Fages, Walmsley, Thompson, Taia, Peyroux, McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Lees, Ashworth, Paulo, Smith, Bentley and Welsby.

Some additions will be made to the bench from the squad that played at Oldham last night.

There will be a bucket collection at the game for former Saints prop Mose Masoe who has suffered a career ending spinal injury.

There will be a live blog on the game on the Star website from about 2pm.
