JODIE Cunningham won the Player of the Year award at the Saints Women's end of season dinner on Saturday.

It is a reward for a fine season for Cunningham, who scored 11 tries in 14 appearances for Saints last term.

Meanwhile England captain Emily Rudge got the nod from her teammates, winning the Players' Player of the Year as well as Imperial Exiles Supporters Player of the Year.

The strong running, tough-tackling second row has enjoyed another impressive season with nine tries in 13 appearances.

Young second rower, Darcy Stott scooped the Young Player of the Year award whilst Chantelle Crowl took home three awards including Coaches Player of the Year.

Tara Jones won the Try of the Year after fans voted her score against Wigan as the stand-out try whilst winger Leah Burke was crowned top try scorer after bagging 14 tries in 12 games.
