SAINTS are still in talks to stage a pre-season friendly game in the Spanish city of Valencia – but nothing has been confirmed yet.
The game, with Grand Finalists Salford touted as possible opponents, would be part of a double header on Saturday, 11 January featuring a fledgling side from the host city.
Featherstone Rovers’ friendly against Valencia Huracanes has been officially sanctioned.
Rovers will become the first opponents of the newly formed Spanish side who have ambitions to enter Betfred League 1 from 2021.
Saints chief executive Mike Rush said: "We're still in discussions but at this stage nothing has been agreed. If they put a proposal to us, we will make a decision."
