SAINTS Academy kicked off their tour of Australia with an impressive 40-0 win over North Sydney Bears at TG Milner Field on Saturday.
They opened the scoring on 11 minutes when wing Lewis Baxter took Joe Woods' pass before dummying the full back to scored under the posts.
Lewis Dodd added the extras to that and to his own ‘show and go’ which followed to lead 12-0 after 15 minutes.
Further tries followed with dummy half Keenan McDaid sending Harry Brooks over and Dodd putting Baxter in to make it 24-0 at the break.
Second half tries came from Reece Sumner and a 60-metre effort from Keenan McDaid and finally Jumah Sambau.
Scholarship Player of the Year Taylor Pemberton kicked the extras as Saints Academy wrapped up an impressive 40-0 win in their opening tour game with Sydney Roosters up next on Wednesday with kick off at 6pm (local time).
