NEWLY-crowned Betfred Super League champions St Helens are 3/1 with the game’s title sponsors to do it all again next season… the same odds as arch-rivals Wigan.

Saints, who will be led through the next campaign by new boss Kristian Woolf, won the regular season by a record 16 points.

But the Warriors, boosted by the arrival of 2019 Man of Steel Jackson Hastings and a late surge last season, have got equal billing.

Next in the betting with Betfred are Challenge Cup holders Warrington, whose 2019 season went downhill after their against-the-odds triumph against the Saints at Wembley in August.

They are 4/1 to win next year’s Grand Final, with Hull FC available at 9/1 - and Yorkshire pair Castleford and Leeds both a 10/1 shot.

Catalans can be backed at 16/1, while this year’s surprise finalists Salford Red Devils are as wide as 33/1.

Those odds have raised eyebrows, but the club have lost their Aussie talisman Hastings to Wigan - and remember, they were 100/1 this time last year though went on and proved the doubters wrong.

Meanwhile all eyes will be on Toronto Wolfpack, the Canadian new boys to Betfred Super League, and whether they will significantly strengthen ahead of the new season.

They are 50/1 outsiders to win next year’s Grand Final – which is likely to be in October though no actual date is yet finalised – along with Huddersfield and Hull KR.
