SAINTS forward Matty Lees has expressed his thanks to well-wishers after the announcement he would miss the Challenge Cup final due to injury.
The 21-year-old has undergone abdominal surgery after suffering a tear in his intestine during Saints' win at Leeds Rhinos last week.

Lees took to social media to thank all who have sent him messages and admitted his disappointment at missing Saturday's Wembley showpiece against Warrington.
He posted: "Just want to thank everyone for all the messages. Gutted to be injured and out for the game next week but on the mend now and should be back soon! Good luck to all the lads next week get the job done!"
