FOR the second week running Clock Face Miners NCL side have let a lead slip in the final 20 minutes.

On this occasion away at Ince Rose Bridge where they lost 34-24.

Ince were quick out of the blocks with an early converted try but, Clock quickly pulled one back when Luke Forber dived over in the corner with Ian Webster converting.

Ince again took the lead with a try under the posts.

An Ince indiscretion saw them reduced to twelve men for 10 minutes and Clock took advantage creating an overlap to send Forber in for his second.

Two converted penalties by Webster edged Clock into a 14-12 half time lead.

Ince started the second half with all guns blazing and scored in the first set to regain the lead.

However, a Clock attack on the short side ended with Webster going in for a try to level the scores.

Clock then edged in front when burly prop, Brad Davies, powered his way over with Webster converting.

From then on it was all Ince who scored three tries in the final quarter.

Clock Face A team kept up their push for promotion from NWML Division 5 with a hard fought 24-18 win over Wigan Spring View A.
