ST HELENS Sutton chairman Matt Crehan took on the challenge known as the Tour of Merseyside, six races across seven days totalling 52 miles.
He started last Sunday with an impressive four minutes win and course record at the Southport Half Marathon.
Monday was a six-mile trail races with a mile across the beach at Thursaston, followed by an out and back flat 10mile road race on Tuesday just up the East Lancs. Thursday saw Crehan take his fourth win and fourth course record over a flat but windy 5mile at Otterspool Prom.
Friday was the most local race - a cross country at Stadt Moers Park, and the week finished with a 12 mile race along the Wirral Coastal Path.
Crehan went six from six on wins and course records, breaking the overall tour record by over 15 minutes with a total time of 4:40.13
