SAINTS and England prop Luke Thompson will be out of action for six weeks after sustaining an ankle injury last week against Hull FC.
Coach Justin Holbrook confirmed the news today, with the international front rower sidelined for a similar length of time to Mark Percival and Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook.
Holbrook said: "Between Tommo, Percy and Louie it is all six weeks.

"Tommy Makinson will be fine, his back stiffened up last Monday but he could have played today. It just gave him chance to freshen up."
