THE social media banter war between Super League's top two Saints and Warrington looks like it will continue up until tonight's kick off.
Warrington kicked off proceedings on Monday by tweeting a picture of a dog reacting to Tom Lineham's try which knocked Saints out of the Super League 2018 semi-final.
Wolves went on to lose another Grand Final to Wigan and so the riposte from Saints'media team was swift and brutal - with the club's twitter feed simply posting six trophies to indicate the number of Super League titles Saints have won to Warrington's zero.

And Wolves upped the ante again last night with some top level winding up from mascot Wolfie attending the Premier League darts night at Liverpool.
But elite darter Michael Smith, who sponsors Saints, again had a witty put down - with the words - 'It's always your year' - a phrase that has been used to sum up the perennial optimism of a team that has not been crowned champions since 1955.
