SAINTS scrum half Theo Fages will be missing for the games against Catalans and Warrington with the hip injury he picked up against Hull KR.
It means Danny Richardson will get his opportunity after playing at Leigh.
Coach Justin Holbrook said: "He is not great at the minute, and as soon as he came off I knew it was more than a corked hip that he could run out.
"He has torn the oblique muscle off the bone area and will miss a couple of weeks.
"Hopefully he will be back for Easter - he just needs recovery time, not surgery.
"That will give Danny Richardson an opportunity.
Thatto Heath seeking to play cup tie at home
"The best thing about dual reg is that he has been playing at Leigh. He started slowly there but has put a few good games together there.
"If we had not had that then he would not have played for eight weeks before he is called upon.
"He will be excited to get his opportunity."
