- It was a nip and tuck first half with tries from Luke Thompson, Morgan Knowles and Mark Percival being responded to with scores from Jermaine McGillvary and Jordan Turner to make it 16-12 at the break.
- Saints stepped it up a notch in the second half with tries from Percival, Grace, Dom Peyroux and Jonny Lomax pushing them clear at the top.
