Chester 4 Prescot Men 4.
Prescot men secured a top 4 finish with a stunning comeback against Chester. Trailer nil two at half time Prescot scored from the restart to cut the deficit after a well worked penalty corner was scored by Doyle. Chester then restored their two goal cushion and added a fourth no long after.
However, Prescot far from folding went on a goal spree of their own with Mortimer and Boulton making it three four with a minute left.
Boulton then went on to score the equaliser in the dying seconds.
Prescot Men seconds 1 Rochdale 4.
For 30 minutes Prescot played some of their best hockey of the season against Rochdale.
Maguire scored from a smart turn after good work in midfield. Rochdale are pushing for promotion and scored an equaliser and then a disputed penalty corner was awarded by the Rochdale umpire.
In the second half tempers flared and several players from both sides spent time off the pitch. A harsh score for the effort put in.
