FORMER Saints assistant coach Jamahl Lolesi made a return to the club last week to help out with aspects of pre-season training.

Lolesi is assisting with the team’s wrestling sessions during his stay.

Justin Holbrook has made tweaks to his staff since Lolesi’s departure.

Holbrook explained: “Ian Talbot was doing the academy and foundation stuff.

“He will now juggle the academy and then help us in the first team.

“That is a good mixture, particularly because he can see what we are doing here and take that back to the academy and scholars.

“He can pass on the basic principles of how we want to play here.

“That is a good mix for us.”

The other changes are simply tweaks, with more work for England assistant Paul Wellens.

“Wello will take on a bit more of what Jamahl was doing last year and Longy will stay the same,” he said.
