ST Helens Tri have enjoyed a month of success in Spain and Stockport.
Stephen Gavin completed Ironman Barcelona in under 12 hours.
This included a blistering sub six-hour bike leg, while John Bowes finished in 13:05.13.
The club’s Team GB athletes shone in the European Duathlon Championships in Ibiza.
In the sprint races, Shirley Fox placed 17th in the F55-59 division while Jeanette Fisher enjoyed a remarkable ETU debut, setting one of the fastest bike splits en route to ninth in her age group.
Eddie Hirst matched Jeanette’s result the following day in the M40-44 standard distance race, while Mark Turner performed brilliantly to take sixth at M25-29 level less than two minutes away from the podium.
Closer to home, Robert Chesters recovered from a slow start to take fourth place, including third in his category, at the Stockport Duathlon.
