LYMM Golf Club duo David and Jeanie Donnell-Jones were crowned Cheshire Mixed Foursomes champions at Northwich’s Vale Royal Abbey course, following the success of the club's girls' team picking up a county championship.
The Lymm pair posted an impressive haul of 41 points, finishing four clear of Sale Golf Club’s Mobi and England Senior star Cath Rawthore.
Vale Royal Abbey have hosted the competition since its inception and will do so again in 2019, giving members of all Cheshire clubs the chance to see their mixed champions take to the fairways.
After winning the Cheshire Junior Championship, Freya Jackson and Sophie Mullarkey from Lymm and McKenzie Gourlay from Appleton contested the final of England Golf's Junior Champion Club competition.
The Lymm Golf trio finished in a tie for fourth place out of 24 counties and were the only all-girl team in the competition.
