DOMINIQUE Peyroux is in line for a return to the Saints side for Saturday's Super 8s clash at Warrington after missing the last six matches with a broken arm.

He is in the 19-man squad for the match, which is highly likely a dress rehearsal for the semi-final in two week's time.

Saints have undoubtedly missed the Cook Islands and Samoa international - a player who brings a combination of direct, dynamic running, aggressive defence on the right edge and determined chase to a high ball.

Significantly, Saints have lost half the games since he broke his arm in that July Warrington game - an injury the tough-as-teak back row initially shrugged off and played on with.

Saints boss Justin Holbrook said: "We have missed Dom massively. He is one of those hardworking players that you don't realise how much you miss them until they are not there.

"Aside from that, without him we are moving Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook, who has been fantastic in the middle, and moving him to an edge. We haven't got two Louies. That affects the team.

"Jack Ashworth is an exciting young player who has done a really good job, but he is more suited to the middle than the edge.

"Missing Dom means we have had to shuffle everyone else around in other positions."

Having been given the all clear from Monday's scan, Holbrook wants to get the big-hitter some game time before the knockout stages.
