- Catalans had taken an early 1-0 lead through tries from David Mead and Remy Casty.
- But Saints hit back with scores from Mark Percival and Theo Fages giving them a 14-12 lead at the break.
- The Dragons physically dominated the second half and took the lead through Iain Thornley and Kenny Edwards.
- The Dragons held that 22-14 lead well into the last 10, but gutsy Saints got off the canvas to all but wrap up the League Leaders Shield.
