SAINTS face a trio of old boys in Friday night’s Super League round three clash at Huddersfield.

The Giants, who have had a mixed start to the campaign with a win and one loss, feature former Saints Paul Clough, Lee Gaskell and Jordan Turner in their ranks.

Although they will have a degree of extra motivation, Huddersfield have threat across the park and it has proved a tricky game over the years.

Coach Justin Holbrook said: “Huddersfield will have been disappointed with round one, but they bounced back pretty strongly at home to Warrington.

“They will be strong on Friday and so we will need to be ready to go.

“They have experienced guys in there – with Ryan Hinchcliffe and Danny Brough playing long enough – they are the keys of that team.

“They have some strong carriers of the ball too – Jermaine McGilvary will be back and Sebastine Ikihihifo and Ukuma Tai’ai carry strong.

“Danny Brough has a good kicking game – it makes them a well-organised team, but we’ll be right.

“It is an area where we have to be strong.”
