THATTO Heath produced back to back wins with a hard fought 28-20 away win over strugglers Leigh Miners Rangers in the NCL.
Doubles from Dave Sutton and Niall Allen gave Thatto Heath enough breathing space as Leigh showed the fight needed to survive despite recent results.
Allen started the ball rolling, scoring his third try in as many games, with Bobbie Goulding converting.
Two tries in four minutes, from Sutton and Allen made it 16-0.
Leigh mounted a late revival in the first half to peg back a try.
Brad Ashurst barged over from close range to get the second half ball rolling, but Miners hit back with two scores.
Frodsham produced a pinpoint cross field kick, caught by Sutton, who touched down in a tight spot.
Leigh had the last word but Heath’s back to back wins will give them much needed confidence ahead of the home game against Kells.
